Charter Farms Produce Charter Farm Produce is a family owned and operated local roadside farm since 1981 We open in the spring when asparagus is available.

We use as few chemicals on our produce as we can and still have a respectable product to sell. Although we are not organic, we eat the same produce that we sell and do not want to eat a lot of chemicals just to have a perfect product.

Greetings and Happy Labor Day Weekend!

As you prepare for that one last hurrah, tailgating party, or family cookout, please don’t forget to stock up on our end of summer produce items.

We have a Labor Day Special for:
Sweet Corn: $5/dozen
Watermelon: $4 each

We also have the last of our tomatoes, peppers, and squash.

We plan on closing at the end of day on Monday, September 7th for the summer season.

We will re-open with our fall items on Saturday, September 19th.

Thank you to all our customers over this past weekend! We appreciate everyone who stopped by.

With such a great turn out, it’s going to take us a day or two to catch back up on stocking the stand. We do still have some items, but tomatoes are limited and we’re just waiting on the next batch of corn. If you stop by and we don’t have your favorite items, please check back later this week.

Come and get while we got it!

It’s getting to be last call on few of our early summer produce items. The quantities for yellow squash, zucchini, pickles, and cucumbers aren’t what they used to be. They will be here for this weekend but will most likely not for next weekend. 🥒

BUT, the good news is, other items will be showing up! We are starting to see more tomato production. The extra hot weather has made the turning sluggish, but we’re starting to see more red in the field. 🍅

And as always, we have delicious sweet corn ready for your weekend cook out or just regular snacking needs. 🌽

And get your cantaloupe melon. These sweet summer treats are going fast! 🍈

We are also fully stocked for a number of other regular items including: beans, potatoes, egg plant, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, pickles, onions, peppers, and cabbage.

As a bright note, we have a few new items added to the stand today. 🫑 🌶️

We also anticipate the start of yellow beans this weekend! Green beans shouldn’t be too far behind. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
