Independence Farmers' Market The Independence Farmers' Market offers local produce, meat, dairy, eggs, preserves, and baked goods. The Independence Farmers Market began in 2008.

On the 4th Friday of each month we REPLACE our regular 9am to 1pm Market with an Evening Market from 3-7pm. 6/26, 7/24, 8/28 & 9/25 we're ONLY open 3-7pm A local grower/producer market, the Independence Farmer’s Market is open seasonally on Fridays 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Online all year. We feature local, naturally raised meats, local and heirloom vegetables, baked goods, herbs, arts and crafts.

Throughout the season, our vendors provide customers with goods grown or made with pride. Ask them for recipes or helpful food preparation tips. Our market offers special events throughout the market season, featuring Farm Fresh Kids Day, the Berry Festival and Tomato Day, contests, raffles and local musicians. During the offseason, attend our workshops and continue to shop online. Stop by and see us at the crossroads of Hwy 58 and 21 in historic Independence, Virginia. Want to join our Market? The judges have decided! 1st place Dean McRae with apple cheesecake, 2nd Apple cookie 3rd Doug Sanders with tarte titain. Try them for $3 a slice

We are pleased to have La Mascara join us this Friday at the regular Market from 9am to 1pm. Our regular food vendors, Burke's hotdog cart will be there as well. A hotdog, drink and chips for $5 is a great lunch deal. See you Friday and bring a friend!
