Sheila Healey didn’t set out to start a bakery. She just couldn’t stop baking bread. For years, she filled her home with the aroma of fresh sourdough, gifting loaves to friends, family, and anyone who needed a little comfort. The common response? “You should really be selling
this.” So she did—and The Bread Barn™ was born. But this is more than a bakery. It’s a mission. At The Healey Farm, we believe that bread brings people together. For Sheila, that’s the sweet spot—where good food and good company meet. Every loaf is a celebration of community, faith, and adventure. Whether it's a warm cinnamon roll on a market morning or a rustic sourdough shared around a family table, each item carries a story. By day, Sheila leads multiple institutional kitchens as a seasoned food & beverage director for a college, school, childcare center, and coffee shop—serving hundreds daily with excellence and heart. By night (and often early morning!), she’s handcrafting every roll, cookie, and boule that fills our little barn with joy. Faith fuels everything we do. Our family serves actively in our church, and we believe every adventure is guided by purpose. From traveling the world together to gathering our community around a simple loaf of bread, we’re grateful to do life—deliciously.
