Food Pantry LAX Food Pantry LAX is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing groceries to those in need. Clients may come to the Pantry once per week.

Food Pantry LAX is an emergency food resource for low income clients in Inglewood, Westchester, El Segundo, Hawthorne and portions of Los Angeles. Our policy is to provide food for 2 days or six meals to our clients. Our operating hours are 10am-Noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. Clients are required to have some identification or information showing they are in our serving area, but there are no income qualifications. We are located at:

REPEAT DEFENDERS! For her birthday, Erin Leatherman asked her friends for money, which she used to buy supplies for the pantry. What a wonderful gesture and meaningful way to celebrate one's birthday! Mychal's Learning Place, which helps people with development disabilities, took time from its own noble work to donate food. That's Kim and Ari from the center's staff.
What is even more remarkable is that both Erin and Mychal's contributed food to us in December, when most people give. It's rare, but wonderful, for donors to return in the "off-season," when our shelves tend to be barer. Thank you all!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! -- Food Pantry LAX distributed its special Christmas bags this week. The bags are larger than the ones we normally give out and contain some items for a holiday meal -- such as a canned ham and cake mix. Some of our customers, as well as our volunteers, dressed for the occasion. Thank you to everyone who contributed the bags in our annual Bag-it-Up campaign.

A CHORUS OF GOOD WILL -- Thank you so much to The Concert Singers, a group based in Westchester that is the oldest independent choral group in Los Angeles. PUTTING THEIR BEST FOOT FORWARD -- Our pantry was lucky to be chosen this year to be the recipient of a gigantic food drive by the employees at Skechers, the famous shoe company headquartered in Manhattan Beach. FLU VAX AND FOOD DRIVES -- Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles County held a flu vaccine clinic over the weekend and asked participants to bring food to donate. The result: More than 100 people got their shots and Food Pantry LAX got a ton of food for our clients. Thanks to Shay Price of Kaiser's West LA facility, who arranged it all.
