The NWS has issued a HEAT ADVISORY in effect today, 8/29/24 from 12pm to 8pm. Heat index values up to 104 expected.

PLEASE be cautious in the heat. Remember heat safety tips such as checking on neighbors, drinking water, limiting time outdoors.

Due to the heat advisory today, we will be operating inside the Dr. Hazo W Carter, Jr. Integrated Research and Extension Building (also known as the IREB) right down the road. There’s a map below for guidance. The tomato is where we usually are and the circled building is where we are today! We will still be open from 10-6 so come inside and cool off with us! Looking forward to seeing you before the weekend 🥒🍅🌽
