When we say this community showed up last night, we mean YOU SHOWED UP! Maybe it was the beautiful weather, your love for Inver Grove Heights Days, or you simply wanted to get out and enjoy some time with your community. Whatever brought you out, we’re so glad you joined us!
Butcher Bert and his crew served a little over 1,200 people🍔 🌭 That is one heck of a crowd, and a whole lot of hamburgers and hot dogs! We can’t thank you enough for making it such a wonderful evening. Seeing everyone together, laughing and having a great time, is exactly what this event is all about.
A huge thank you to our friends at the Minnesota State Patrol for bringing out the helicopter, and to the Inver Grove Heights Police Department, Inver Grove Heights Fire Department, Hometown Meats, Swanson’s Meats, Republic Services, ISD 199, IGH Days, Sheriff Joe Leko, the Moose Lodge, Simley High School Marching Band, Hometown Sweets, Inver Grove Brewing Co., Drkula’s, and every incredible volunteer who helped make the evening possible.
And last, but certainly not least, thank you to Butcher Bert’s bestie and nonperishable food raising rival, Joe Atkins. The competition may be fierce, but the friendship and the commitment to our community is even stronger.
We hope you had as much fun as we did! Now, let’s get ready for a fun filled, event packed and safe Inver Grove Heights Days!
