The response to Lyla's Library has been incredible.

Because of your kindness, there are going to be a lot of happy kids at Children's Hospital getting to pick out a book of their very own. We can't thank this community enough for showing up once again when there was a need.

As much as we'd love to keep this going forever, all good things must come to an end. Tuesday will be the final day to drop off new or gently used books at Hometown Meats for Lyla's Library.

We're accepting books for ages 0-18, and everything collected will be delivered to Children's Hospital in the coming weeks.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Every book donated is a smile, a distraction, an adventure, and a little bit of comfort for a child who needs it.

Let's fill those shelves one last time before Tuesday. ❤️📚

Boar’s Head Tavern Ham is $1 OFF per pound and Lower Sodium Provolone Cheese is $1 OFF per pound this week. Perfect time to stock up on sandwiches for work, the kids, or those late night fridge raids.

And thanks to our friends at Sweet Kneads Farmington Bakery, we just got a fresh delivery of buns and bread this morning.

Little Lyla has a special mission and she needs your help. 📚❤️

Next time you’re at her Papa’s shop, bring along a new or gently used children’s book and drop it in the collection area for Lyla’s Library.

Just last year, Lyla had stays at Children’s Hospital. During those long days, one of the highlights was the library cart that rolled through the halls each day. Getting to pick out a book brought a little joy during a difficult time.

Now Lyla and her family want to give that same feeling back to other kids facing hospital stays. All donated books will be given to Children’s Hospital so children can enjoy a book during their stay and take it home with them.

Let’s fill those shelves and make a difference one book at a time. ❤️📚 Help a little Butcher in training out 😉

Just a friendly reminder, Bratwurst Bert, I mean Butcher Bert and his crew are serving up smoked brats from open until close today and all weekend long. Monday starts a new sandwich of the week: Cuban

For $5 you get a smoked brat loaded however you want it. Sauerkraut, onions, ketchup, mustard…the works. Plus a cookie 🍪

Butcher Bert came rolling in hot today. Those hard plastic Big Wheels were screaming for mercy as he flew through the store to announce the big news.

You loved our Sloppy Joe sandwiches so much last week, we decided to make life easier and pack them up in 2 lb tins so you can bring the Hometown magic home with you. Just heat it up, grab some buns, and dinner is done, the Hometown way.

And yes… we made sure there are plenty of fresh baked buns ready to go too, thanks to our friends at Sweet Kneads Farmington Bakery.
