Heritage Fields Farm

Heritage Fields Farm 30 different types of vegetables picked daily from our fields. Heritage Fields Farm was established in the summer of 1999 when David Derrick was 14 years old.

David started out with just two rows in his mother's garden, planting only tomatoes. After over a decade of continuous growth, he now plants more than 40 acres of vegetables with more than 30 different types of vegetables during all months of the year. Everything is picked fresh daily from the fields.

Since we are moving into September it's a good time for a tomato update.
We are now harvesting third crop of tomatoes. Harvest is going to be short lived due to the poor growing condition they went through. Forth crop is about knee high but is struggling with the high heat. Our Fall greens are also struggling with the heat (97.2 ° yesterday), but are recovering in the evenings when it cools off. Cultivation is under way on all greens to help control weeds. All our employees have been working really hard all summer long to help keep the farm stand running, when you see one of them please thank them for all their hard work. We could not make it without them. We are a small local farm that is dedicated to our local community. We appreciate all of yalls continued support. Your farmer, David
