Opening day for the 2026 Downtown Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market (FAM) is only 1 month away! On Saturday June 6 from 8am to noon, the public parking lot at A Street and Iron Mountain St. will be full of activity, with a large collection of vendors offering food items, handmade art and crafts, and other locally produced goods. The list of committed 2026 vendors has just been updated at downtownironmountain.com/farmers-artisans-market.

Applications for the 2026 season are still open to all vendors, including those who haven’t joined us before. Over 60 vendors have already committed for 2026. There are limited spaces available, so don’t wait or hesitate to apply. This is a great opportunity to showcase your produce, crafts, prepared foods, art, plants, and more to the community and be in the company of many customers. Attendance at the FAM dusing the past two seasons average about 500 people per Saturday, which is a total of roughly 10,000 people over the course of a season, which runs to the second Saturday in October.

The vendor application process involves completing an application in printed form or online, getting evaluated and approved by a committee of long-term vendors, and being assigned a space. All of the information can be found at downtownironmountain.com/farmers-artisans-market

Fortunately, the snow is melting in Downtown Iron Mountain, and preparations are underway for the 2026 season of the Farmers & Artisans Market. The first day of the Market will be on Saturday, June 6 - just 75 days from now. We had a bunch of vendors from last year already sign up for the 2026 season. If you were a vendor at the Market last year and haven't yet done so, PLEASE go to https://downtownironmountain.com/farmers-artisans-market and submit an online application.

At this point, we're also opening up applications to anyone else who is interested in being a vendor during the 2026 season. The Market comes to the City parking lot across from the Library and City Hall every Saturday morning from 8:00 am to noon. That's 19 Saturdays from June 6 to October 10. You can commit to the entire season or come as a "weekly" vendor with a flexible schedule. Some vendors will come once or twice to try it out, then make a longer-term decision afterwards. Either way, it's a good opportunity to get in front of 500 to 800 people who visit the Farmers & Artisans Market every Saturday, and you'll be with good company. Just in time for a March warm-up and 3 months from the opening day, preparations have begun for the 2026 Downtown Farmers & Artisans Market. We're talking with about 75 vendors from last year, and quite a few of them have already indicated they'll be coming back in 2026. If you were a vendor at the Market last year and haven't yet done so, PLEASE go to https://downtownironmountain.com/farmers-artisans-market and submit an online application. We'll be opening up applications for new vendors later in March, and will make another announcement at that time.

The Downtown Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market attracted about 10,000 people during the 20-week 2025 season from June to October. We counted as many as 600 to 700 on many of the Market Saturdays throughout the 2025 season. They came to check out the 30 to 40 vendors who appear on most Saturday mornings, while doing other shopping and dining downtown, especially breakfast and coffee.
