Good morning Iron Mountain! It's a perfect Saturday morning and a great day to head downtown to the Farmers & Artisans Market. We just counted 50 vendors attending today, and you can find a variety of locally grown and produced food, baked goods, arts & craft items and more - all in one place at the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street. The hours every Saturday are from 8:00am to noon and the Market runs through October 10. Coffee and breakfast are nearby too!

The Downtown Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market (FAM) is back tomorrow at our usual space on the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street, across from the Library and City Hall. The FAM happens every Saturday morning between 8:00am and noon with around 45-50 vendors each Saturday. Since it takes all of the vendors time to arrive, set up, and get ready, it's courteous to all vendors to arrive at the Market no earlier than 8:00am. We've had a lot of people showing up at 7:30 to get their produce, but please remember the FAM opens at 8:00. There are about 10 vendors offering produce, so arriving at 8:00 gives them all time to get ready and enables customers to experience all the FAM has to offer.

We've had an awesome 2026 season, again with roughly 45-50 vendors each Saturday offering a wide array fresh food products, local arts & crafts, and more. We also want to thank our incredible Season Sponsor - - for their support and for providing FAM shopping bags! More of those will be available next week.

It's going to be a busy Saturday this week in Downtown Iron Mountain. Italian Fest will be at the First National Bank & Trust Downtown Stage from noon to 11pm on Saturday. Italian Fest will also occupy part of the usual Farmers & Artisans Market space. However, THE SHOW MUST GO ON and the Market will be in pretty much the same location with some adjustments to the layout. We'll have the same 45-50 vendors as usual and there are always a few new / different vendors coming in addition to many season vendors you can find every Saturday.

The parking situation on Saturday will be a bit different as well due to Italian Fest. There's plenty of parking nearby if you know how to find it, and the information and map is at downtownironmountain.com/parking Most importantly, the large parking lot just west of US-2 between A Street and Hughitt Street is only two blocks from the Market.

Begres Farms has notified us that they just picked produce for tomorrow's Market which was cancelled. As many of you may know, Issac sets up shop every Thursday at Begres Chiropractic at 918 Cedar Ave. THEREFORE, Begres Farms will set up at the chiropractic office again on SATURDAY so all of his usual customers can go there as an alternative. ALSO, Sh*ttake Creek will be joining them at the chiropractic office on Saturday from 8:00 AM to noon.

Due to the smoky and unhealthy / hazardous weather conditions forecast for tomorrow (July 18), the Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market is CANCELED. The weather forecast calls for more smoky conditions on Saturday, similar to the past few days. We wanted everyone to know as soon as we were certain weather conditions are unsafe for conducting the Market outdoors.

Hopefully the smoke clears and we'll see everyone next Saturday July 25!
