July 10th, I added new hens. Those hens were around a rooster, so I was going to toss those eggs. Yet before purchasing the hens, I had two broody hens. With a quick thought, I marked the eggs the first three days and divided them between the two ladies.

Today marked 21 days. The next two days will also mark that. But love and behold a baby chick popped out from under one, when I was collecting eggs. I actually was in shock. I didnt realize it was day 21, nor did I really think they would be successful.

So the next few days we’ll see if anymore hatch. Such a cool experience! 🐓
