No reservation is needed to visit the Produce Market Stand & Gift Shop. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. REFUND POLICY: We will happily refund or exchange any produce or merchandise that does not meet our quality standards. PETS: Other than ADA Service Dogs, pets are NOT permitted at Tanaka Farms. We wish that were not the case but food safety regulations, as well as our insurance policy, do not allow it. Public Drinking Water Is Not Available. Bring your own or bottled water is available for purchase at the Market Stand. Dress Code: FOR YOUR SAFETY we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Please avoid wearing sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, or high heels. Insurance Policy: In complying with insurance policies, and for your protection, PETS and WAGONS (except during Pumpkin Patch) are prohibited at Tanaka Farms in Irvine. You are more than welcome to bring your wagons to Hana Field in Costa Mesa. Please use our parking lot only. Do not park in any of the surrounding neighborhoods or businesses.

🎃 Halloween weekend is going fast.

The late weekends of October are filling in quicker than anything else on the calendar, so if you had your heart set on those days, grab them now rather than in three weeks.

🎃 24 hours. Set your alarm!

Pumpkin patch tickets go on sale tomorrow, Sunday August 30 at 5:00PM sharp. The patch opens Saturday, September 12.

Here is what your day looks like once you are through the gate:

Wagon rides rolling through the fields all day, every day. Our barnyard educational exhibit, open every day, because meeting a goat is a core childhood memory. The U-Pick veggie patch, where kids pull their own carrots and Japanese turnips straight out of the ground and then refuse to let go of them. The pumpkin cannon, Friday through Sunday. The games area with face painting, arts and crafts, Farmer Mini Golf, Duck-A-Palooza, Spooky Splat, Mini ATV and the Bee Train. And Tanaka Grill, open Wednesday through Sunday.

Then there is the part we look forward to all year. Rows and rows of pumpkins still on the vine, waiting for someone to pick the exact right one.

One heads up. We run on timed entry, so every visit gets its own time slot. Weekend mornings and golden hour fill up the fastest, so grab your time when the link goes live instead of waiting for the week you want to visit.

Weekend blackberry tours just added! 🖤 The berries are sun-sweet and ready to pick, and yes, snacking in the fields is very much encouraged.

Only 1 tractor tour each day:

📅 Sunday, August 30th
🕙 10:00am

Your ticket gets you a tractor ride around the farm, an extra veggie to pick, all the berries you can eat while you pick, and a visit with our barnyard animals.

Taiko drums, ondo dancing, a mikoshi parade, festival games, a craft boutique, and former Nisei Week Queens and Princesses breaking boards on stage. Plus food from Tanaka Farms and the OCO BBQ Crew.

Natsu matsuri means “summer festival” in Japanese! 🏮

All across Japan from July through September, neighborhoods light the lanterns, fire up the taiko drums, and carry a mikoshi (a portable shrine) through the streets. It started centuries ago as a way to pray for a good harvest and honor the people who came before.

Ours is a little different. It happens on a working farm, the mikoshi are built by OCO Club kids (including the littlest ones, who make their own mini version), and it all supports their youth programs.
