During last week's ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit, GSF earned selection as a grantee of the ReFED Catalytic Grant Fund. 🌱 This support advances our collaboration to reduce food loss and waste, one of the most powerful ways to cut methane emissions.

Our work will focus on developing replication toolkits and industry resources to help reduce beef waste across operations, while sharing insights with partners like the Meat Institute and the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.

Together, we’re continually reducing the amount of food sent to landfills, transforming more of it into valuable resources for a circular, resilient food system. 🌎

For Carla Sauer, a temporary role with GSF in Georgia turned into a career spanning a quarter century. Starting as an operations clerk for GSF’s protein products business, she embraced every opportunity to learn, contribute, and advance. Today, Carla leads a team as Senior Customer Service Manager for GSF's Liquid Products North America business. Integrated with the supply chain function, her approach centers on collaboration, connection, and consistency, even as each day brings new priorities.

Today, we celebrate and the launch of the first Ronald McDonald House global spokesfamily, recognizing the strength and resilience of Ronald McDonald House families everywhere. At GSF, we’re grateful to play a small part in helping families stay together and close to the care their child needs. ❤️🏠

Through GSF’s involvement in the Global Giving Collective, alongside the McDonald's supplier community, our associates give their time and hearts in meaningful ways. In 2025 alone, GSF associates contributed 570 volunteer hours, supporting 12 Ronald McDonald House Chapters across the U.S.

One great example, our GSF Conyers, Georgia team has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Atlanta for more than two decades and continues that commitment today. Volunteers help create moments of comfort and care for families when they need it most by preparing and serving dinner bimonthly at the new, expanded House.

Offering a candid, forward-looking view of the opportunities shaping private enterprises today, the discussion brought together industry leaders to talk about advantages of staying private, approaches to governance, strategies for cultivating strong company culture, and embracing technology and AI with agility.
