Help us make delicious food grow at Sandy Bottom Farm! We are now hiring to round out our 2026 farm crew. Sandy Bottom Farm is a small certified organic, diversified vegetable farm.



Our season for these positions is May to November. Starting at $18/hour, or higher depending on directly relevant farm experience. Happy to train the right person! Strong candidates will have physical and emotional stamina, a willingness to learn and try hard, and a sense of humor.

Applications accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

~ You’ll get on-the-job training, develop new skills and learn a lot–but this is a job, not an apprenticeship–we’re focusing on getting things done efficiently.

~ We work hard! In order for farmwork to be effective, we need to balance speed and quality of work. We love good stories, and if you’re someone who can talk and work at the same time, you’d be great for this job!

~ Your days will be full of physical work, including lifting, weeding, walking, hauling and picking. It’s fun, and also you’re going to be pretty pooped at the end of the day.

~ We’ll be out in the field in all types of weather..

~ Positions are typically 3 to 4 days per week, 7 to 3:30, with a paid ½ hour lunch. Possibility of flexible hours, including more hours, for the right candidate.

~ No housing is available with these positions. Happy to discuss local housing options.
