Job Opportunity! Farm 40 West is a family owned and operated business. We are looking for a self-motivated Herd Heath Manager for a flock of approximately 1,000 head of sheep and goats located throughout West TN; but based in Jackson, TN.
Daily tasks will consist of, but are not limited to feeding, health checks, moving poly wire for rotational grazing, moving herds, helping with health maintenance. Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, know how to drive or be willing to learn how to drive a tractor, have a valid drivers license with a good MVR, know how or be willing to learn to drive a stock trailer. A knowledge of livestock is a plus but is not a necessity. Pay is based on skills and previous experience.
