.I was the featured Gullah Geechee Chef for the Purpose Built Communities Conference in Jacksonville,Florida this past April.This is where I-worked with the Amazing Hyatt Regency Culinary Team to bring my Culture and family recipes to life.My recipes,Farmery season blends,hibiscus ,sea Island field peas , local farm fresh collards and my cultural cooking instruction with staff that brought all this together….Over 700 people was in attendance….I am more than grateful to be able to offer Authentic Gullah Geechee dishes and not the ones that are now just trending and not true to our culture.
