The Clara White Mission (CWM) is a non-profit organization in Jacksonville, Florida founded by Dr. Eartha M. White that advocates for the poor and provides social services. White Harvest Farms cultivates land purchased by Eartha White in 1920. Just a friendly reminder that our Market is happening tomorrow, and we’re also kicking off our first class in the Grow & Nourish Program, ‘Comfortable in the Kitchen,’ taught by our amazing Culinary Instructor, Danielle Collins, A.K.A: Chef Dani of from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM! 🍽️

In this class, you’ll learn about kitchen safety, knife techniques, master the art of balancing flavors, and discover clever ways to prepare meals!

We’d love for you to come and learn kitchen skills that will feed & nourish you and your loved ones for a lifetime! Come join us!

Our first class in the Grow & Nourish Program, ‘Comfortable in the Kitchen,’ taught by our amazing Culinary Instructor, Danielle Collins, A.K.A: Chef Dani of , is designed to help you become a confident cook for years to come!

In this class, you’ll discover how to stay safe in the kitchen, learn the perfect way to hold a knife, master the art of balancing flavors, and discover clever ways to prepare meals!

Come join us for the second film in the Atlantic Beach Quarterly Film Series, “The Biggest Little Farm” this Thursday, brought to you by the Arts, Recreation, and Culture Committee (ARCC) the Environmental Stewardship Committee (ESC) and Beaches Go Green ! 🎥🎬🎞️

“The Biggest Little Farm” tells the story of John and Molly Chester, who traded city life for 200 acres of empty land and a dream to grow food in harmony with nature! 🌱

Plus, we’ll have a local Expert Panel from 7:30-8:30pm with Panelists: our Farm Director Sarah Salvatore (Eartha’s Farm & Market); Angela Tenbroeck (Center for Sustainable Agricultural Excellence & Conservation); Kira Mauro (Dig It Local) & Hayley Spring (Blue Zones Jax )!

We’re kicking off the event with a FREE Garden Workshop led by our Gardening Instructor, Hurtis Wyche at 9-11 AM. Then, at noon, Sarah Salvatore (Director of Eartha’s Farm & Market), Ms. Ju’Coby Pittman (CEO of Clara White Mission ), and Dr. Antonio Nichols (Health Officer/Administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Duval County) will share their insights. Guests will also have the chance to participate in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, join a guided community garden tour with Hurtis, and enjoy a live culinary food demonstration by Chef Dani of , who will highlight the program’s impact and what it has to offer! 💚

We cordially invite YOU, members of the media, community leaders, partners, and residents to join us in commemorating and celebrating this special occasion! 🎉

This program, supported by a partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Duval County, aims to make healthy food, nutrition education, and community wellness opportunities more accessible to everyone in Jacksonville.

By combining agriculture, culinary education, and community involvement, we're working to strengthen local food systems and improve health outcomes across Duval County!

The event will be kicked off with FREE Garden Workshop led by our Gardening Instructor, Hurtis Wyche from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, then at noon, Sarah Salvatore (Director of Eartha's Farm & Market); Ms.Ju'Coby Pittman (CEO of Clara White Mission); and Dr. Antonio Nichols (Health Officer/Administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Duval County) will share their remarks.

We’re so grateful to for their wonderful donation of ’s artwork, which she created at Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing Park for Black History Month!

Here at Eartha’s, we’re always working hard to honor the legacy of Eartha M.M White, and it’s truly a joy to have artwork from a local artist to remind us of that.

Thank you for your kindness and for sharing your beautiful work with us!
