Today is Emma’s last day shaking hands and greeting shoppers before she heads off to Illinois College! 💚🎓

But Emma’s work with us has been so much more than what you’ve seen at the farm stand. Over the last semester and this summer, she’s been behind the scenes digging into our local food system, learning how it all connects, and helping tell the stories of the farmers and food producers who make it possible. She’s even given us a fresh round of blog posts highlighting the people behind your food. 🌱

We’re going to miss seeing her around here, but we couldn’t be more excited to watch where this next chapter takes her.

🧅 “Come get these onions!” - Cam says so!

Many of you know Cam from the farmers market, but today he popped in to lend a hand out in the field. And let’s just say… he didn’t waste any time getting to work! 😂

The tractor broke down, the rain rolled in, and somehow we’re still getting these beautiful onions harvested. That’s farming for you! 🌧️🚜🧅
