🚨Excited to announce, Jasper Farms Market is back in business for another season! This will be our 7th season in business, & we are looking forward to another great year with our loyal customers and our new costumers to come! 🚨
🚨 As most of you know, the current war is severely disrupting the global food market primarily by choking energy and fertilizer supplies through the Strait of Hormuz. Surging oil prices have raised shipping, transportation, and production costs, while 30% of global fertilizer trade is threatened. This causes shortages in farming supplies, limiting yields and driving up retail prices. 🚨
🚨 It don’t help matters none that Florida produce prices are currently high due to a severe supply shortage driven by deep freezes and disease, particularly affecting tomatoes and citrus, alongside labor shortages caused by new, strict immigration laws. Increased operating costs for farmers, including transportation and material costs, are being passed down to consumers 🚨
So please bare with us in these rough times as we are trying to keep prices low as possible as well as making a profitable operation!
Here at jasper farms market we sell southern raised produce as well as our own & other local farms when it’s closer to harvest season!
