I don’t mean to brag, but we had ROYALTY visit the ranch this morning!! Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Layton is completing a challenge to ride 50 horses before her national competition… and she checked 5 off of her list today.

Y’all let me tell you this young lady is exceptional! She’s well spoken, friendly, and can flat out ride a horse. Oklahoma will be WELL represented at the National Finals Rodeo!!

Today started with an EARLY Saturday morning wake up call… and 2/3’s of the cattle on the ranch, being rearranged due to the severe drought. Fixing water gaps in the spring rains is zero fun… but we’re thankful for the creek that runs through the ranch.

You can feed hay when the grass isn’t growing… but water… that’s a whole different story.
