Ope! Got some cool things happening here!

Introducing the Reader-to-Reader cards! ANYONE can fill out a card of a book that we are currently carrying at the store and it will get displayed in the store! This helps customers discover books they might not otherwise pick up, while also giving fellow readers a chance to share their favorites and recommendations.
So if you’ve read something in the store that you absolutely loved, fill out a card and share it with the next reader! You never know who might find their next favorite book because of you. 💚

Second, Erich from Sundae Morning Dairy LLC brought in three packages of feta cheese! There has been such great feedback about their whole milk and I am so excited to see what great things lie ahead for them!

Who else is ready for fall weather? 🥵

This weekend the store is STOCKED with sourdough and gluten-free goods from Country Oven Home Bakery and Sola Gratia Bakery.

The shelves are also sprinkled with fun fall and Halloween themed books. Don't mind me, I'm just manifesting crisp air and fall leaves. 🍂🧡

A huge shoutout and thank you to Rolfe Blaess for gifting me his Swintec 8016 electronic typewriter!

It’s a pretty cool late 20th-century electronic typewriter, not the traditional mechanical typewriter you’ve seen scattered around the store.

Thank you, Rolfe, for thinking of Ope & Fable and giving this old piece of history a new chapter! 💚

New Vendor Alert! 🥛✨
I'm excited to announce we are the first retailer to carry Sundae Morning Dairy LLC! Sundae Morning Dairy is located just outside of Ogden and raise the most beautiful Brown Swiss cows. They have been doing an excellent job at the Ames Main Street Farmers' Market and Greene County Farmers Market in Jefferson IA. and gaining a lot of attention, so I am happy to be an outlet for them during the off-season for farmers markets!

Fun fact: This batch that came in today was produced yesterday! You really can’t get much fresher than that!

Theo of Golden lived up to the hype and I’m in the middle of The Calamity Club and it’s AMAZING!
