Falcon Ridge Farm Products We are a family farm products business in Jefferson Maine. My grand father purchased the farm in 193 My grandfather began working the land in 1932.

Most of his work at the time involved cutting and hauling lumber to the Damariscotta Mills area using teams of horses or oxen. When he passed away my father was still quite young and he stayed with relatives. returning to the farm in the 1950.s. There was much work to be done, and many repairs had to be done to the farm house and the main barn had sustained a lot of damage, so he made the decision

to tear it down and built a smaller barn. Most of the farming during those years was rather small scale compared to many other farms. We planted gardens, raised cattle, sheep, and chickens. The produce was canned, frozen or stored in the root cellar for our own use. My mother also made jellies, jams, and maple syrup. When my Dad passed away in 2014, we were left with the responsibility of maintaining our heritage. We have spent much time surveying the land, and taking inventory of our available resources , reclaiming overgrown fields, and setting to goals for the farms long term sustainability. Our plans include offering the public maple syrup from our sugar bush, jams and jellies, orchard, plants and produce from the greenhouse and gardens as well as various woods products.
