Mustard, natures natural fumigate, so planting strawberries now with hopes of not having to spray any fumigates. The moles have moved out and hope they stay gone, killed 300 plants last fall, they tunnel right under row and push out the plants. the butterflies are Great Southern White, mustard is there favorite but any brassicas will do. Cause and effect, so build up huge population of worms and predators, Wheel bugs were easy to find and they moved into milkweeds and killed most of the Monarch caterpillars.

Looked and looked last year couldn't find them but 2 weeks ago found them and wasn't looking for them "French Melon" seeds and 7 out of 8 seeds came right up so will start a few more. I will let you know when some are ready.

This is what happened last winter, so did not start any peppers early, waited till April and only started around 600 so will be a few peppers in Aug. I hope.

you know, still picking tomatoes and much better than store bought, strawberry plants look great just need a good crop next May

28* coldest, so we picked 2 qts. strawberries yesterday, will no doubt be end however we have froze a bunch

some one wanted meat now! Grain feed would be fine, so was grain feed last 60 days, is good meat, we ate some but as things work out change of mind or what ever I have 100 lbs of ground beef $4.20 Lb. for sale. 417-398-2291
