Dear Valued Guest & Friends,

A Little Backstory... ✈️❤️
For those who don’t know our story, Olive and I actually graduated from the exact same high school—St. Joseph High School in Olongapo, Philippines 🇵🇭 (we were even classmates during our Junior year!).
After high school, life took us on completely different paths across the globe:
Olive went on to pursue her nursing degree, eventually moving to the UK 🇬🇧 and then to the US 🇺🇸.
I attempted a brief stint in Pharmacy school, (unknowingly at the same University Olive attended her first year in Manila ) then briefly worked in Kodiak, Alaska at the age of 17, then in Japan at the age of 19, before returning permanently to the US and joining the US Navy ⚓ at 20.
Fast forward 27 years with zero contact between us! In 2018, a scheduled mini-reunion in Temecula , California got canceled , of which Olive was already planning to attend and in the area on a summer trip with her kids from New Jersey .. I was living in Las Vegas and just so happened Olive has an Aunt and some cousins residing in Las Vegas too , so she made the drive to So Cal to Las Vegas instead to see them … which allowed us to reconnect and have a mini reunion of our own and as they say, the rest is history! 😂
Why We’re Heading to San Diego 🌴
This year marks our 35th High School Reunion, held on August 1st in Temecula , California. (For the many of that returned or migrated to the US throughout the years )
While we initially weren’t planning to attend, the sudden passing of our dear high school friend on July 9th changed our perspective. He was a constant presence at our gatherings and loved by so many. In his memory—and with the reminder that life is short and precious—we are making the trip to celebrate his life and reconnect with lifelong friends.
