Farms in the Heights Join us for our 15th Farmers Market season at Riverview Park 10a-2p every Sunday from May 4 through November 23.

The Riverview Farmers Market is operated by Farms in the Heights, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The board is a diverse group of neighbors and friends from the Jersey City Heights community who share Farms in the Heights’ philosophy and goals. All volunteers, they are the driving force behind the Riverview Farmers Market and other Farms in the Heights programming.

With almost 60 vendors (new ones in bold) and lots of activities planned, we are kicking off the 2026 season with tons of energy! Swipe and read below to see what we have in store:

9-9:45 QiGong with
10am Market opens! Free kids art all day by and Resident Response Center will be available until Noon to share resources and a calendar of upcoming events across JC
10:15-11 Bubble fun with
11am Opening remarks from Mayor James Solomon and Ward D Councilman Jake Ephros
11:15am Live music from Jai Vincent
12:30pm Live music from
2pm Market closes

We’re baaaaaacccckkkkkkk!!! ❤️‍🔥

The 16th season of the Riverview Farmers Market officially kicks off THIS SUNDAY, May 3!! Join us in Riverview Park from 10-2 rain or shine to enjoy the return of your favorite local vendors (and lots of new faces, too!), live music from & , bubbles from , free art hosted by the , and some guest appearances from local leadership. 🤝

We’re also bringing back our TRIPLE MATCH 💰💰💰program for your SNAP/EBT benefits. Swipe $15, get $45 to spend at eligible vendors. Check our website to see which vendors accept SNAP benefits.

BONUS: will be hosting free before the Market every first Sunday from May through October! Which means that this Sunday you can join her in the park from 9-9:45. You don’t need a mat. You don’t need experience. Just yourself (and maybe a sweatshirt if it doesn’t warm up soon)! Never tried QiGong before? ⬇️ See below for more details.

Looking to hire a Manager In Training to manage our Sunday farmers market for the 2026 season! The right candidate will receive on-the-job training with our current Manager before their departure.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and organizational skills. Someone who has strong interpersonal skills and is able to build positive relationships with vendors, staff, patrons, and our Board.

About the job:
⏱️ TIME COMMITMENT: In addition to the 7-8 hours on-site at the Market every Sunday from May to Nov, we expect an additional 3-6 hours of work throughout the rest of the week to support vendor management & communication, grant management, and other administrative duties.
🗣️ BILINGUAL: Looking for an English/Spanish speaker.
🧑‍🌾 EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of people management experience and 4 years of applicable work experience with customer service, retail, or community events

Interested in joining the Riverview Farmers Market? Here’s a few things you should know:
- We’re more than a market, we’re a community destination. We offer free community programming like live music, events, festivals, family activities, and more regularly throughout the season.
- We host the Market outdoors in beautiful Riverview Park, which is easily accessible to Jersey City Heights, Union City, and Hoboken. Talk about a market with a view!
- Just because the Market runs every Sunday, doesn’t mean you have to. We accept flexible scheduling from our vendors! If you can only make it 1X or 2X a month, or maybe only on event days, we can work with you.
