Farms in the Heights Join us for our 15th Farmers Market season at Riverview Park 10a-2p every Sunday from May 4 through November 23.

The Riverview Farmers Market is operated by Farms in the Heights, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The board is a diverse group of neighbors and friends from the Jersey City Heights community who share Farms in the Heights’ philosophy and goals. All volunteers, they are the driving force behind the Riverview Farmers Market and other Farms in the Heights programming.

Drum roll please! 🥁 We are excited to announce our esteemed judges panel for this year’s Peach Pie Contest this coming Sunday! This group is talented, passionate, and has contributed so much to the character of our neighborhood. We can’t wait to see what they bring to this lineup of peach pies! 🍑 🥧

Judging starts at Noon on Sunday and free pie samples will likely start around 12:30. Winners announced around 1:30. 🥇🥈🥉

Cedric Gayon found his passion in the kitchen early, tasting dishes with his mother and developing a refined palate rooted in the bold, umami flavors of Filipino cuisine. He trained at top Las Vegas restaurants like Guy Savoy and Sage, as well as Eleven Madison Park in NYC. Tina RIvera - Owner, Baking Mama
Tina Rivera is a self-taught baker and founder of , a small-batch bakeshop she established in 2015. Located in Hoboken’s historic district, Baking Mama is rooted in the joy of sharing handmade baked goods. Tina also owns Hey Coffee People in Hoboken, where she continues to foster community over coffee. A resident of Jersey City Heights, Tina is expanding her vision with a new brick-and-mortar bakeshop on 333 Palisade Avenue and a concept bakeshop on Newark Avenue that celebrates Filipino flavors as a tribute to her heritage.

Melanie Rudin - Founder, Jersey City Restaurant Owners Coalition
Melanie Rudin is a dedicated community advocate, marketing executive, and former pastry chef who is a staunch supporter of Jersey City’s vibrant culinary scene.
