🥩 JERSEY SHORE HAS A LONG HISTORY OF HOMETOWN MEAT MARKETS 🥩

The building at 229 S Main St has been part of that tradition for generations. The market traces its roots back to the late 1800s with the Probst family and became a longtime staple in the community through Erv’s Meat Market.

When Erv Rauch took over the business in 1985, he built a reputation around quality meats, smoked products, customer service, and recipes that people came back for year after year. From smoked pork chops and homemade bologna to jerky, beef sticks, cheeses, and fresh-cut meats, Erv’s became a place generations of local families relied on. 🔥

That history matters to us. 👊

At CV Meats on Main, we’re proud to continue many of Erv’s famous recipes while bringing new energy back into this historic Main Street location. Our goal is simple: preserve the hometown meat market experience people remember and love while building something that serves Jersey Shore for generations to come.

A new chapter is coming to Main Street. 🥩

CV Meats on Main is officially opening soon at 229 S Main St, Jersey Shore, PA - bringing a true hometown meat market & deli experience back to downtown.

This isn’t just another meat market. CV Meats on Main is built on the idea of bringing together the best of both worlds - combining the quality, innovation, craftsmanship, and modern approach that customers have come to know from Country Valley Meats with the hometown feel, classic service, and favorite recipes that made Erv’s Meat Market a longtime community staple. 👊

Located in the former Erv’s Meat Market, we’re proud to carry on many of Erv’s famous recipes and continue being the kind of neighborhood meat market people count on. From fresh cuts and smoked products to deli favorites and grab-and-go favorites, this is the kind of place you stop into on the way home and are always glad you did. 🥓🔥

The shop is currently being renovated while preserving the classic character and small-town charm that made this location so special.

We’re incredibly excited to bring new life to this Main Street staple and can’t wait to open our doors to the community this summer!
