Worsham Grocery & Feed Worsham Grocery & Feed is a family owned and operated business. It opened in 1946. The lot next door was purchased also from Mr. Knight of Tenaha, Texas. C.C. Mr.

Worsham Grocery & Feed sits on land that was purchased in the early 1920's from Ivy Horton at which time the original building was erected. During the 1920's and the 1940's, the building was leased to E.B. Childress and Percy Ellis who had a furniture store for one year. Ashley had a drug store for a number of years. Elliott had Elliott's Grocery Store and Mr. Brotherton had a grocery store for on

e year. In September of 1946 it became Worsham Grocery & Market, being run by Dewey & Mamie Worsham and Levis & Inez Worsham. In 1947, Lone Star Feed was introduced with the feed store building addition. The store still has much of the original architectural finishings throughout, which makes it a unique place to visit and step back in time! The family cherishes so many wonderful memories of patrons that have always been a part of the history of the business. Worsham Grocery originated when Levis Worsham returned home from his service in World War II. Running the business and serving this community became his life-long legacy of what he so loved! It continues to be a family run business!
