Did you know that we not only test our milk but we also test our cows?!

We test our milk for E. coli, coliforms and general aerobic bacterial count. Our goal is safety and quality. It matters to us what we put out for our family and for our customers.

But we also test each individual cow! For what?

BLV - linked to human breast cancer. All of our girls are tested negative.
BVD - a very contagious virus that will eventually end in death for the cow one way or another. No reason to allow that here
Johnes - linked to human chrons. It’s a wasting disease and incurable. None of that here! Ever!
Our girls all come from TB and brucellosis free states/herds. Testing isn’t as common for these but we take all precautions needed ✔️

Mastitis - we test on site for mastitis, LDH (inflammation) and SCC (white cell count in the udder often linked to mastitis or other disease) in each of our girls regularly. Who wants icky milk? Not me thanks.

Our goal is always high quality products that are safe for your families and for ours. God has been so good to provide healthy cows time and time again. Don’t settle for less! Happy Sunday! 🩶
