We checked a few of the paddocks this past Saturday and everything seems to be growing well this year. The grass came up quickly this spring! We are already rotational grazing and everyone is putting on weight. Here are some pictures from last Saturday of the edges of a few of our fields. I tried to take close ups so everyone could see the mixture of grasses. Good pasture management equals healthier and heavier sheep!

We made it through lambing season quickly and issue free this year. All ewes bred by DCR had twins or triplets this year...

We made it through lambing season quickly and issue free this year. All ewes bred by DCR had twins or triplets this year. All lambs dropped within 3 days of one another and are very healthy. We did have one ewe that produced a single outside of this 3 day window, but she arrived to us already having been bred. All lambs are growing quickly thanks to excellent mothers with plenty of milk! We got some beautiful colors this time.
