Simple ingredients. Simple living. 🪻🧼

One of my favorite things about our Shoppe is that so many of the products naturally go together.

Our Lavender Lard Soap is handcrafted in small batches using lard from our own pasture-raised Kunekune pigs and lavender grown right here on the farm.

Pair it with one of our dried lavender bundles, and you've got a little piece of the farm to enjoy long after your visit.

Whether it's sitting by the kitchen sink, in your guest bathroom, or adding a little fragrance to your home, sometimes the simplest things are the ones we enjoy the most.

• $10/bar or 3 for $27

🪻 Dried Lavender Bundles (approximately 50 stems)

There's a reason our eggs rarely stay in stock for long. 🥚

One of the things I love most about our rollout nest boxes is how clean the eggs are when we collect them. As soon as an egg is laid, it gently rolls away from the nesting area, helping keep it clean and protected.

Of course, clean eggs are just the beginning.

Our hens are pasture-raised, rotated onto fresh ground, and fed a high-quality, non-GMO diet. We believe good eggs start with giving our flock the best nutrition and care we can.

We use a pre-order system so you know your eggs will be waiting for you before you make the trip to the farm—no guessing whether we'll still have enough when you arrive.

🥚 Eggs are $6/dozen.

**Why choose lard soap?**

With so many soaps on the market, why would someone intentionally choose a bar made the old-fashioned way?

For us, it comes down to simplicity.

Our soap is handcrafted in small batches using lard we render ourselves from our pasture-raised Kunekune pigs. It's one more way we honor the whole animal while creating something practical for everyday life.

Lard has been used in soapmaking for generations because it creates a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather that's gentle on the skin.

We currently offer three varieties:

🧼 **Original** – Just three simple ingredients: lard, water, and lye.

🍯 **Honey Oat** – Made with local honey for a naturally comforting bar.

🪻 **Lavender** – Made with lavender grown right here on our farm.

Whether you're looking to simplify your skincare routine or you're just curious about traditional soapmaking, we'd love to help you find the bar that's right for you.

🧼 $10 per bar

🥚 Fresh pasture-raised eggs available this week!

There’s a big difference between eggs from the grocery store and eggs from chickens that spend their days outside doing what chickens are meant to do.

Our hens are rotated onto fresh pasture and fed a non-GMO diet, giving them access to grasses, seeds, insects, and plenty of space to forage.

The result?

Rich yolks, great flavor, and eggs produced from chickens raised with care.

I used to think natural loofah sponges came from the sea!

It turns out... they're actually a gourd.

Every spring, we plant loofah seeds in our beyond-organic garden and let the vines climb all summer long. By fall, the gourds have matured and begin drying on the vine.

Once harvested, the real transformation begins.

After they're mostly dry, we peel away the outer skin, remove the seeds, and wash the fibers. What remains is the natural sponge most people know as a loofah.

It's one of my favorite products we offer because it's a perfect example of something that goes straight from our farm to your home.

No plastic.

No synthetic materials.

Just a plant, grown here on our farm and prepared by hand.

Whether you use one in the shower, at the kitchen sink, or for cleaning around the house, it's amazing what can come from a single seed.

Our homegrown loofah sponges are available through the Shoppe for $4 each or 3 for $10.

🥚 Eggs available this week – $6/dozen

These aren’t your typical grocery store eggs.

Our chickens are rotated on pasture and fed a non-GMO diet—scratching, foraging, and producing eggs with rich yolks and real flavor.

Once you’ve had eggs like these, it’s hard to go back.

What's in our soap?

It might surprise you.

For hundreds of years, families made soap from animal fats because they were readily available, practical, and created a long-lasting bar of soap.

That's the tradition we've chosen to bring back on our farm.

Every batch of our soap is handcrafted in small batches using lard we render ourselves from our own pasture-raised Kunekune pigs. It's one more way we honor the whole animal and make use of every part.

So why lard?

Lard has been valued by soap makers for generations because it creates a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. It's naturally high in fatty acids that contribute to a gentle, conditioning feel on the skin, which is why this traditional recipe has stood the test of time.

And perhaps the part that surprises people most...

Our Original soap contains just three ingredients: Lard, water, and lye. That's it.

(For anyone wondering, the lye is used to turn the fat into soap and is consumed during the soapmaking process. There isn't lye left in the finished bar.)

If you'd like a little something extra, we also offer:

🧼Honey Oat (made with local honey)

🧼Lavender (with lavender from our farm)

Sometimes the simplest ingredients really are all you need.

If you've never tried old-fashioned lard soap before, we'd love to answer your questions.

$10 per bar
