Okra is from Blessed Creek Farm.

The farmers market is back tomorrow, 8am-12noon!
We'll be set up by the courthouse with live music by Bratfolk, children's activity with McKinney Center, portrait sketching by local artist Allison Parker (9am-12), our popular Walking Program 8am-11:15am, and these vendors scheduled:

End of another era here on the farm. No matter the brand I buy they only last about a year. I always wonder how many miles they must have covered. Seems silly but I can’t help but reflect on the work that was or was not accomplished during the life of those boots. Coming to the end of our third year on the farm and I look forward to the fourth. This winter there will be more building projects, planning, and improving on what we’ve already done. The house will get a porch and finish trim work inside. The wash station for produce will finally get a needed upgrade and the little barn will get a roof. The list goes on.

Time to lace up the new boots and get to harvesting. See you all at Jonesborough Farmers Market tomorrow 8-12 with our pasture raised chicken, eggs, lettuce, chard, collards, kale, okra, herbs, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, arugula, baby greens, and radish.

We are thankful for a bountiful harvest of sweet potatoes this year. You can find them in our farm store and at the Jonesborough Farmers Market on Saturdays.
