Our Story

Withey’s first opened its doors in 1958 as a motel, market, and gas station. Throughout the late ‘60’s, Ronnie Withey began offering herbs and homeopathics for her customers ailments as she gained more and more knowledge. By the late 1970’s the idea of ‘health food’ was beginning to take shape and the market was becoming one of the valley’s first health food stores. In 1980, Joe took over ownership of Withey’s Health Foods from his folks. Since then we have enjoyed our growing and loyal customer base and a staff that values every customer who walks through its doors.
