Riverview Update June 17, 2026
Many of you have been asking when our produce is going to be ready. The answer? It depends on the type of produce. The goal of this post is to help you understand when our organic produce will be ready.
This weekend—we’ll have Zucchini, Yellow Squash, and a few Cucumbers.
The tomatoes (we hand planted over 5,000) will NOT be ready until the end of June or the first week of July. We will have a few good size green tomatoes by the end of June and peppers will probably not be available until the first week in July depending upon the weather.
Okra will not be available until mid July, and we’re still waiting on word from our supplier when the peaches will be ready.
Cantaloupe, Musk Melon, and Watermelon will not be available until late July or early August.
As a reminder, we do not use chemicals of any kind on our produce. All of our plants are hand grown in the greenhouse and transplanted by hand in the field.
We do have available In our retail store Zucchini and Pumpkin Bread made fresh daily, as well as a wide variety of homemade canned goods:
Hot and Mild Salsa
Pickles
Relish of all kinds
Bread and Butter Pickles
Strawberry Jam
And much more…
