McDaniel Acres Local raw honey and farm fresh eggs for sale with all sales go to a non-profit organization (The Graeme McDaniel Foundation) started in my grandson's memory.

We do run out quickly so please message me if you are interested and I can let you know what we have available. Farm fresh eggs are $4 per dozen and local raw honey made by my Katy bees is $10 per 12 ounce bottle.

Every penny you spend goes to a non-profit organization called The Graeme McDaniel Foundation which was set up in my grandson's memory. If you are looking for local honey and farm fresh eggs while supporting a wonderful organization, you have come to the right place! Our bees have been very busy and we have just extracted 31 gallons of honey.
Fun fact: It takes 12 bees their entire lifetime to produce one teaspoon of honey!
31 gallons = 23,808 teaspoons. It took 285,696 bees working their entire life to make 31 gallons of honey (23,808 teaspoons x 12 bees = 285,696 bees). 😳
We sell our honey ($10 per 12 ounce bottle) and our farm fresh eggs ($4 per dozen) and donate every penny to The Graeme McDaniel Foundation.

We are so grateful to Graeme’s PawPaw, who works hard raising chickens and bees to support our mission. This is a honey frame that is almost ready to harvest. It takes 12 bees their entire lifetime to produce one teaspoon of honey. The bees fill the cells with honey and then reduce the honey’s moisture content to around 18% by fanning their wings. After getting the honey moisture content down to at least 18%, they cap the cells with wax. Once the frame has been completely capped, it’s ready to harvest.

Our bees are working hard to keep their hive cool during these hot summer days. Bees line up at the entrance and use their wings to “fan” the hive to circulate air and cool the hive.
