Harvested 13 more frames of honey today and some more honeycomb. About the same harvest as two weeks ago. Starting to trim them down for fall.

Been beekeeping for several years and I’ve never had this happen. I caught a swarm in one of my empty hives and upon inspecting it I saw the queen lay some eggs. Even caught it on video.

Insulated the tops of the hives this weekend to prevent the humidity the bees create from raining back down on them when it hits the cold top of the hive.
