Where do we even begin??

Laurie started at Franklin Food Market while still in high school and continued working full-time throughout college. She has been here for 40 years!! Laurie is not only the manager, but she has performed every job duty needed along the way, (except running the meat saw).

She is not only supportive and dedicated to Franklin's, but also to staff and customers. She has generously and selflessly assisted countless others with needs inside and outside of work over the years.

Laurie holds a special place with the Haggar family, and not just because she has managed to put up with 4 generations of Haggars, which is gold medal worthy. She has always been a consistent support through loss, new beginnings, rough days, and celebrations.

Laurie and the love of her life met while working at Franklin. A young carryout boy named Doug. They have now been married for 39 years and have four fur babies (Morgan, Anny, Mikki, & Wiley)!!

Laurie has several talents and interests outside of work. She is a big supporter of our local sports teams, especially The Canaries. She sings the national anthem regularly, including for this Saturday's Banana Ball game! She sings at other events, like weddings and funerals.

Laurie enjoys giving back and helping others. She participates and organizes fundraisers for others as well as our animal friends.

Her dedication to all she does is second to none.

Laurie is only the second employee to ever stick around the Haggars for 40 years. Several others have come close though.

Thank you Laurie, for your dedication and support over the last 40 years. But more importantly, THANK YOU for yours and Doug's friendship!

Celebrating a couple of birthdays today! One is 85 and one is 21! Kenny is doing his favorite thing watching the sheep auction and Daniel can’t wait for five o’clock to go bar hoping, Kenny will probably be going too! Things might be a little slow here tomorrow.
