Aloha, we are currently caring for two roosters and 24 hens. Our experience in rehoming roosters has been successful, with five having been placed in new homes. Initially, we thought that our two roosters, a BCM and a lavender, would get along well since they were raised together. Both roosters, Caccorino and Pinporino, have friendly personalities and enjoy interacting with humans. However, we have come to realize that Caccorino's hyperactive nature and stress caused by Pinporino's dominance necessitate his rehoming. Caccorino's crowing begins at 4am, sometimes as early as 5am. He loves being carried and held, making him a great pet for those who can provide the necessary attention. Unfortunately, he cannot coexist with other roosters. He is scared another Roos will be picked. Our primary concern is Caccorino's happiness, and we have observed that he appears stressed in the presence of Pinporino. If you are interested in providing a suitable home for this charming and playful rooster, please contact us. Caccorino is about 6 months old. He was the smallest chick and we took extra care to grow. It’s very hard for us but we want him to have a peaceful, relaxed life always and forever.
