Over a hundred years ago, Livingston Ludlow Taylor settled in the Keene Valley, located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks. At the base of Mount Marcy is the Ausable River, and that’s where we’ve kept our farm. It’s a place that’s scenic beyond words, and since 1988, Rob Hastings (a pioneer of season extension in the region and the great-grandson of Taylor) has been managing Rivermede to he

lp our community flourish and grow. We now have several greenhouses and high tunnels to grow the produce we sell. And when you walk into our charming market on nearby Route 73, you’ll be immersed in our homey decor as you choose from local meats and eggs, local cheeses, and homemade soups and sandwiches. You’ll find plenty of other products, including our pure maple syrup and gift baskets, making us a one-stop shop full of tradition -- one you’ll look forward to visiting every season.
