Posting 5 dozen available hatching eggs in the comments, so check the thread and DM me to claim! I will add videos under each dozen. Make sure to click on “all comments” to not miss any. I will have them on sale for Memorial Day🇺🇸 $35/dozen + a few extra. They are multigen olive eggers. You can expect similar color palettes, and completely different colors as we keep improving our lines each generation. We strive for lots of speckles and blooms and are working on our purple blooms over some our olives that carry that genetic💜

One of the chix I hatched a few months ago from my purple bloom egg is a girl🙌 The other is a boy and will be available for adoption when he is older. He will carry that purple bloom genetic and would be a great addition to a breeding program. I think I will name her Violet and pray she carries that genetic over to her eggs. She should be laying in the fall months.

Mom + Dad with their babies🥹

They finally came out to explore outside of the coop today. It is a hot and sunny day here in Texas and they are loving life. The rest of the flock is fine with them running in and out around them eating and drinking. They are so used to this by now, we never have issues when new chicks hatch and living among everyone else. I love this time of year when we let the broody ladies raise babies in the yard💕

💣sale💣
Come get some fresh hatching eggies! Mainly multigen olive eggers, with a few f1 olive eggers, fibro eggers and back crosses in the dozens. Loads of speckles and heavy blooms🌸

💣Buy a dozen eggs get a free half dozen bantam eggs (7 eggs, actually). These ones have a harder fertility rate with my male due to the females small size and their ability to run away fast from him😆, but I’m wanting someone to hatch some girls and then share with me what they look like as adults and their egg colors! I suspect a light brown with speckles, given my rooster hatched from a dark chocolate with big brown splotches and the hens lay a tiny cream colored egg. All the ones I hatch and keep end up being male lol. I will hatch more when my bantams go broody for myself and try again for female offspring.
💣Buy 2 dozen eggs get a free half dozen colored eggs from our normal breeding lines.

$40/dozen

Just had another chick hatch from this pretty speckled olive! I’m excited to see some little chix running around the yard with their mama. It’s a totally different experience when they’re raised by a hen vs me raising them in a brooder. And way easier 🤪

This little cutie hatched under my broody girl, Greer🩶 I see another one zipping, so I’ll check on it when everyone goes to bed and it’s quiet and dark. Greer is being a very good Mom! I looked up the name meaning of Greer, out of curiosity because I love the name, but wanted to see the proper spelling— it means, “watchful, vigilant and guardian”. So fitting at the present moment😍 She is a happy girl right now, and I’m excited to watch her raise her first set of chix! We have some more broody girls who will be getting their eggs tomorrow.

This lady has been broody for like 2 months straight. The first clutch didn’t hatch because they kept leaving the nest for other nesting boxes 🤦‍♀️ And the weather was too cool to sustain them at that time when someone would abandon the nest. Last summer a mom abandoned the nest and our hot Texas weather still hatched them😂 I did that test for science, actually. I have this nesting pad on the floor of the coop so that I don’t have to worry about chix falling out of the nesting boxes. I have more broody girls that I will give eggs to and place them in the same place. I’m hoping for some success so she can raise some chix and finally get back to laying her own eggs. I always let nature do its thing with them. If they want to be a Mom, I let them. I will only break a broody hen if they have proven to be a bad Mom and kill their chicks after they hatch. So I am hoping she is a good Mom🤞🏻
