📣 new layer alert 📣
These won’t be in the hatching dozens until later this fall— and after I test hatch. New pullet eggs are too small in size and have less chance to hatch until the pullets reproductive system matures. It isn’t impossible to hatch, I have hatched my own. I’m just not comfortable selling until I can test hatch for myself first. I don’t want anyone wasting money, even if there’s never a guarantee an egg will hatch anyways, but I try my best to put out eggs with the best outcomes. More new pullets should be starting to gradually lay as the end of summer and fall approaches. I can’t wait to see what else I get!

The ladies are molting and laying production has gone wayyyy down. It will be like this for a bit, so snag some eggs while you can! I anticipate I will only post 1-2 dozen a week when available for the time being. Pop these into the incubator now and they will hatch just in time for fall. That doesn’t mean much for Texas, since it will still be hot AF for at least another month. But, fall chicks, nonetheless 😌

$40/each or the whole 2.5 dozen for $80 with the deal. Pickup only in the Kemah/East League City area.

This was the least this hen could do for me since I only got 3 eggs today due to molting🫠 It’s looking like a pillow fight out in the coop area with everyone losing their feathers. I can’t wait for this to be done!

I will post the available dozen tomorrow.

Not the best video of my little lavender matcha eggers I hatched a few months ago. But, we have one female and one male. The female is staying with us! The male I will rehome when he is much older and ready for his own flock. They are dependent on eachother right now and I like to raise the boys, anyways. We are calling her Girly Pop (parents with kids will get it🤪) and the boy we are calling Not Girly Pop🙃

My little lavender matcha lady gave me a fun egg today! She couldn’t decide on putting a heavy bloom on her egg or not and the dye ran out halfway through 🤪 This egg is a great representation of what I mean when I tell yall that her natural egg color is olive with speckles. When she produces a heavy bloom her egg color can appear anywhere from a range of grey to lavender. There’s no such thing as a purple egg layer📣 It is just a bloom.

The ladies are starting to come offline to molt all their feathers, so I’ve been getting only about 6-9 eggs a day. Dozens will be a little more limited for at least the next month. I will have some new layers available this fall I am excited about!

Don’t have an incubator but want chicks? I can hatch for you! I have 3 incubators available currently. I do not rent out to customers. Hatching a dozen eggs + 2 extra surprise eggs is $115. Incubation is only 3 weeks long, so keep that in mind before you commit to me hatching. Check your calendar and make sure it’s a good time for you to get chicks and pick them up once I set your eggs. I don’t do refunds, and payments for incubation are made prior to me setting your eggs of choice. I am able to customize dozens for what you are looking for. DM me for more information on that.
