Snack N Shrooms are seasoned, dried mushrooms that were created by accident at The Mushroom Cap in 2009. They were placed on a wine bar for patrons to taste and those patrons came to buy them the same day they were served. Only two flavors were available then - Original and Hot. Low Salt and Garlic were added later. In 2011 a Whole Foods Market Corporate office employee tried them at The Mushroom

Cap. Later that year I was asked if I would like to try selling them at the new WFM that was going to open in March of 2012 at Glen Eagle Square in Glen Mills, PA. Absolutely - paper work was completed in early 2012 - authorized to sell in the Mid-Atlantic region. Tried to get into other WFM in the region but timing was not right - only so much space on their shelves. Wasn't confident with shelf life so changed the recipe a bit - now sugar free! Awesome reviews at the Philly Farm & Food Fest - 4/13/14. Now in a store in Philadelphia and an online store in NYC. Flavors are Spicy Mild, Spicy Hot and Garlic!
