Vendor Spotlight: Vintage Vault Apothecary🕯️

Meet Vintage Vault Apothecary, a business inspired by ancestral knowledge, nostalgia, and the desire to slow down and reconnect with simpler things.

One of their most unique offerings is their “scent memory” candles. You know that feeling when you smell something familiar and suddenly you’re reminded of a person, place, or moment, but can’t quite put your finger on it? They’ve taken those nostalgic scents and captured them in candles, turning a feeling we’ve all experienced into something you can take home with you.

Their own connection to the past comes from memories of their grandparents’ farm in Kansas. That inspiration carries through their handmade products, including organic skincare, beef tallow-based balms and body butters, wax melts, scrubs, lotion bars, and organic sourdough.

Stop by their booth this Saturday, take a step back in time, and see what scent feels a little familiar.

Meet Wendi’s Specialty Baked Goods 🧁

Meet Wendi, the baker behind some of the sweetest treats at our market! Baking is Wendi’s second career, and it’s one she absolutely loves.

Wendi specializes in drop cookies, decorated sugar cookies, cupcakes and cakes, but her talents go far beyond what you’ll see on her table each Saturday! She creates all kinds of custom baked goods, and you can stop by her booth to flip through her binder of past creations and see just how much she can do. 👀🍰

September is in full swing, and so are we! 🍎

We’re still outside at Kemper Center every Saturday through October 31st before heading indoors for our winter market season!

So there’s still plenty of time to spend a Saturday morning outdoors with us, shop local, grab a bite, and say hi to your favorite vendors (and maybe meet a few new favorites, too! 😊)

Meet Zaytuna’s Kitchen!

Have you ever wondered where the name “Zaytuna” comes from? It means “olives”, a meaningful name inspired by the owner’s Palestinian roots.

Born in Palestine, she grew up surrounded by the country’s famous olive trees and olive oil, which are an important part of Palestinian and culture. Food has always been one of the ways she loves to share that culture with others.

For 10 years, she volunteered at her children’s school and college, teaching kids about her home country through food. Today, she continues that tradition at the market, where she enjoys cooking, sharing her culture, and meeting new people.

We are so happy to have Zaytuna’s Kitchen as part of our market family. Be sure to stop by her booth, say hello, and enjoy something delicious!
Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe take a little piece of Palestine home with you.
