Pumpkin Update:

Let’s compare 2025’s crop to 2026’s in one word: disappointing. We battled a wet beginning to the season, a dry middle, a metric ton of bugs and a metric ton of weeds. We spent a ton of hours out in the patch trying to help it along as much as possible, but this year in our corner of Jo Daviess County has not been ideal.

But despite the disappointment, we are thankful for the crop we’ve been given. With that being said, we are going to have to supplement with pumpkins from another source. We want to be open and honest about what’s happening on the farm—the good and the bad.

But there are two things we can still promise you: the same great pumpkins at the same great price!

So, things may be a little different this year, but we’re oh-so-excited to share it with you!

We are starting to plan what baked goods we’ll have in the store Saturday! Of course there will be Apple Butter Cinnamon Rolls, what else are you craving?

Did you know that we do not add anything to our products to keep them from separating? So don’t be alarmed when you see “layers” in the jar. Just give them a good shake before you consume and they’ll be good to go!

We are excited to finally share the last little secret we’ve been hiding. We are so excited to announce the birth of our second child Jonah who arrived August 24th. Elise and Jonah are doing great and enjoying all the newborn snuggles!

We’ll have a store update here in the coming week announcing a few changes and an update on the pumpkins!
