We are very excited to let all of you know that our drop is now part of a new program from Azure called Around the Table.

Spencer Askew from Azure Around the Table says: “Azure Around the Table is a way to bring nourishment to your church family and your neighbors, all while helping to fund the mission work that matters to you,” says Askew. “The idea is simple: When a church serves as a community drop point for Azure orders, they open an avenue to bless their church family and the greater community with healthy food. We partner with them and return some of the proceeds to grow their ministries.”

One thing we do for our community at New Testament (like so many others in our area) is have a weekly Tuesday food pantry and we also partner with the Food Bank of Iowa once a month and provide food for over 800 local residents. The plan is to use anything from Azure Around the Table to be put back into our food bank at the church to continue to help our area families.

Also, more great news for our drop: Our minimum is now $1500. Every month.

We are also very humbled, since we have started our Azure drop, there have been 3 other new drops that have begun within 60 miles. This has never been about how many people we can get at our drop, but can we get healthy food in a healthy food desert? And we helped. You helped. We did it. Congrats to all of you.
