Sweet Cron - Cron Produce Nelsen Family Farm has been selling produce on Sauer's Flat near Kerby for over 50 years. "You know, the folks that can't spell CORN!"

The Nelsen family began selling sweet corn (aka 'Sweet Cron', aka Cron Produce) and over the years added tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, melons, eggplant & a variety of both sweet and hot peppers. An accidental misspelling of corn on a sign decades ago has become their official trademark, and an easy locator for customers and referrals.

Rhett will open about 11 today. He is fixing my house water heater right now. I went to take a shower and it was cold!!! Not happy! Be sure to stop by and check out what he has harvested this week. My being laid up puts it all on him.
REMEMBER: THE COOLER IS FULL OF VEGIES FOR SALE ALSO. IT IS THAT SLIGHTLY SEPARATED WING CLOSEST TO THE HIGHWAY. DONT BE AFRAID TO VENTURE IN THERE!!! YOU ARE SO VERY WELCOME TO CHECK IT OUT!

Tomatillos, ready for Green Sauce or salsa!! Just picked nearly 20 #. Rhett has them at the stand right now. Took me about an hour to pick them. Lots more coming on. And lots of green tomatoes turning!!

I plan to pick a bunch of Tomatillos tomorrow morning. Hopefully enough so you who wish can make green sauce. A small batch takes about 2 pounds. So I will publish a picture of my findings towards noon tomorrow. Thanks all of you

Someone asked if we still have produce. YES!!! Rhett is at the farm right now. Yesterday I picked a bunch of Tomatillos for those who make salsa or green sauce!! They are just coming in and I will pick a bunch more on Monday!

We will be open tomorrow (Sept 6, 2025) from 10 - 5. Sunday ( the 7th) we will be closed but back to regular hours on Monday Sept 8, 2025!!! Come on down!
