Life looks a little different this year. Instead of spending my free time expanding the garden or planting for summer, I’ve been trading gardening gloves for hiking shoes. 🌿🥾
You could say I’m taking a bit of a hiatus from growing plants to focus on growing endurance as I train for an upcoming Half Dome hike later this year.
In May alone, I’ve logged six hikes — from Silver Falls State Park to Pincushion, the Yosemite Mist Trail, and Lewis Creek Trail. Every mile is part of the challenge as I work toward conquering Half Dome with (hopefully) a little more ease when the time comes!
