Worldling's Pleasure has the perfect spread for your Roxbury Farm CSA sweet corn

The nights are getting a bit cooler! We oven roasted corn on the cob last week for our Corn cheesecake. It was so easy, and the corn had a lightly smoky taste due to being left in the husks. Delicious and sweet. This week we decided to continue the corn celebration with our Garlicke and the 7 Herbs. Dabbed a generous portion on each cob, sealed with aluminum foil and baked in a 400° oven for 15 minutes. Opened the foil carefully to vent the steam, turned them over and spread the softened Garlicke more evenly. Returned to the oven for another 15 minutes and enjoyed every delicious kernel!!! 😋😋

Yup, we did this!! 🌽 Celebrating with the Corn Festival at Capital District Regional Market we ROASTED fresh local Sweet Corn from Peters Produce and Eggs, blended it with our Creamy Cheesecake batter and spooned it into our All Butter Shortbread Crust. After baking, it was graced with a light Caramel Glaze and Maple Popcorn from Mort's Maple. One day only!!! Also available at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market and Kinderhook Farmers' Market .

The fleeting beauty of Summer! The flowers, the veggies, tree ripened fruit and local strawberries. This will be our last week to offer Peach Melba and Peaches and Cream cheesecake. Peaches from Samascott's Garden Market, peach preserves from Cedar Ridge Farm in Ghent. The strawberry cheesecake will be adorned with Bulich Creekside Farm ripe berries. Another soon to be missed fruit. All butter Shortbread crust surrounds our creamy cheesecakes and fresh fruit. Don't miss out, keep some Summer in your mouth!! 🍑🍓😋🩷
