All of the produce found a home! Thanks so much to everyone who donated; every dollar received goes to buying more produce for seniors in the area. Every time I buy from April at Livin' Organics she gives me way more produce than I pay for, then donates the money I give her to Austin Pets Alive. Her husband's company Oracle then matches that donation! Translation: we are squeezing about $3.50 worth of charity out of every $1 donated.
I still have quite a lot of dry goods, and will be posting again when there is more produce available. If you or someone you know is a senior in the area who could use this service, please call or text Suzee at 512-689-7051.

These unattractive looking blocks make mushrooms! They take very little care and are super nutritious. Thanks to Ricky at Enchanted Mushrooms I have about 50 of these suckers. I will be keeping some to grow for seniors in the area who can't do it on their own but would love to give some away to local gardeners who want to grow for their family, neighbors, or seniors in need. All of the veggies were delivered to people who needed them! Thanks so much to Livin' Organics and Food Forest for donating produce to help senior citizens in our area, and to everyone who called to get food for their friends and neighbors. The Kingsland Lakeside Market will be shutting down for the time being. We hope to be back in action as soon as possible. In the meantime I will be delivering meat and produce from market vendors to seniors in the area who don't have access to fresh food. I have no intentions of making a profit, I simply wish to connect our elderly population with a safer alternative to the grocery store. I am accepting food donations to distribute as well.
