Need a supper idea tonight?
Steak fajitas
1 steak
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
8 flour or corn tortillas
Fajita seasoning
Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).
Cook the vegetables
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sautรฉ peppers and onions until tender and slightly charred, about 6โ8 minutes.
Remove and set aside.
Cook the steak
In the same hot skillet, cook the steak for 3โ5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
Combine
Return vegetables to the pan with the sliced steak and toss together for 1โ2 minutes.
Fill tortillas with steak and vegetables.
Top with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro, or extra lime wedges.
Serve with Mexican rice and black beans๐ฎ๐ฅฉ
