Well after the last couple of days we have been able to get everything except pumpkins planted. Friday evening we planted 1500 seedless watermelons and 1500 cantaloupes planted on plastic. Tomatoes and peppers as well as sweet corn doing very well. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us this season as our produce becomes available. Should have tomatoes by end of June but will keep everyone posted. Thanks for your support

After the Gail force winds we received the last couple of days forced us to redo several rows of plastic. Today we were successful in tearing out and reinstalling 5 rows for vegetables in the future including cantaloupes and watermelons

Well it’s been awhile since we’ve been on here but wanted to let everyone know we are working hard again this spring to ensure a wonderful crop for all our customers. We will be selling at Kirksville Hyvee again as well as offering pick up at our house.
This year we will have tomatoes, yellow, red, and cherry tomatoes as well as canners. We will also be growing a variety of peppers including bell, sweet banana, Anaheim, jalapeños, ghost pepper and Carolina reapers. We will also be growing several acres of bicolor sweet corn, seedless watermelons and cantaloupes. Looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer.

1st picking of the year for cripple creek produce. Should be next week when the first wave of produce is ready.

Planted 1000 seedless watermelons and 1000 jumbo cantaloupes yesterday. Ran drip irrigation to them as well and we got a nice rain on them this morning thank the lord.

We have our 1st tomatoes of the year. Should be only 45 days now until 1st ripe tomatoes are available.

Been a very busy spring here at cripple creek produce. Tonatoes and oeppers are planted in the high tunnels and fueld wirk is finished for sweet corn, melins and pumpkins.

We are in peak harvest season for tomatoes. We have close to 200lbs of red tomatoes and about 75lbs of yellow great for canning or just slicing. Asking 1.50 per lb, discounts given for purchases over 25 lbs. Please let me know if your interested. And as always thanks for your support.

Produce season is upon us. We are harvesting twice a week Tuesday evenings a Friday mornings. We have red and yellow tomatoes, bell peppers. Jalapenos, poblanos peppers sweet banana peppers and cucumbers feel free to contact me at 660 341 6685 for produce pick up.

We will be at kirksville farmers market this Saturday at 7am. We will have ripe red and yellow tomatoes, and assortment of different peppers and many other produce selections. All 100% locally grown

Me and dad were able to get our 1st planting of sweet corn in. Planted about 1 1/2 acres of bicolor sweet corn. Should be ready by July 4th if mother nature provides the moisture.

Went through the planter tonight. Had to make,a few adjustments but was still able to get 4 long rows of green beans planted before the sun went down.
