Community Supported Agriculture, or a CSA, is a food program that supports local farmers and providers. People in the community buy a share of the harvest, usually before the crops are even planted, and receive their shares in weekly amounts during the harvest season.

Kiss Kornucopia is a non-profit program in Kissimmee that supports farmers and producers in Florida, usually within 50 miles. Your membership fees are used to buy seed, feed, etc. or to reimburse farmers on their expenses. Our harvest season is 26 weeks -- this year November into May. You can get your share either every week or every other week. We have been able to deliver shares either to homes or to work places through our excellent relationships and volunteers.

Boy howdy, there just isn't anything better tasting than a freshly picked strawberry! That flavor just bursts in your mouth, sweet with a tart tang.

Even though they taste like dessert, strawberries are rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, potassium and fiber! Strawberries are so versatile and pair with a variety of flavors. Combine them with avocado, spinach, black pepper, balsamic vinegar, rhubarb, chili, fish, rosemary, or salty cheese. What's your favorite way to eat strawberries?

We are blessed to partner with Mick Farms in St Cloud and their strawberry fields produce the most amazing berries! Upick is open daily 10-6pm , Sunday 12-4pm. Fields close 30 minutes prior so please plan accordingly!

Tired of the same old supermarket routine? Is your grocery list stuck in a rut? A farm share brings variety and discovery straight to your kitchen!

A farm share is the perfect way to step outside your culinary comfort zone and turn every meal into an adventure. By joining, you’ll get a diverse selection of fresh, seasonal produce, including unique heirloom varieties and specialty items that aren’t always available at the supermarket. This variety not only keeps cooking exciting but also expands your culinary knowledge as you discover new flavors, textures, and cooking techniques.

Whether it’s learning how to prepare kohlrabi or experimenting with fresh garlic scapes, a farm share introduces you to ingredients you might not have tried otherwise. Beyond the kitchen, participating in a farm share directly supports local farmers and sustainable agriculture, helping to strengthen the local food economy. As a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) member, you’re getting food the way nature intended—nutrient-packed, bursting with flavor, and harvested at peak ripeness. When a farm like Mick Farms waits for the perfect moment to pick their tomatoes, they ensure you’re getting the absolute best in taste and nutrition.

Compare that to a supermarket tomato, which was picked too early, shipped long distances, and likely ripened artificially. The difference? A CSA tomato is rich, juicy, and full of nutrients, while the supermarket version is bland and lacking. Once you taste the difference, you’ll never go back!

Being part of a CSA means you’re not just buying food—you’re investing in real, high-quality nourishment that supports your health and the business of local farming. Learn more at https://kisskornucopia.com/join-csa/.

When it comes to popularity, broccoli ranks in the top 10 of all vegetables sold in the United States. Chances are you're probably already thinking about including broccoli in your next meal!

Broccoli is low in calories, rich in nutrients and versatile in the ways it can be prepared. Just 1 cup of cooked broccoli is loaded with Vitamin C, Vitamin K, fiber, potassium, folate, iron, B vitamins, magnesium and zinc! Maybe that's why broccoli is so darn tasty!

Broccoli soup is a family favorite but we also love it roasted with just a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Tag us in your favorite way to eat broccoli! Start eating more fresh vegetables! The Kiss Kornucopia mission is simple — grow the local food economy.
It just seems wild that grocery stores are filled with produce shipped thousands of miles away, yet fresh Florida fruits and vegetables can be hard to find right here at home. It’s wasteful, costly, and not sustainable for our future.

Buying direct from local farmers changes that. When growers receive support before the harvest, they gain the confidence to plant more diverse crops, invest in their land, and build a business that can sustain their families for generations. Local restaurants gain access to farm-to-table ingredients. Food makers and artisans can reach more customers. A thriving food culture is possible — and it starts with us.

Eating locally is economically smart, environmentally responsible, and truly delicious.
Help strengthen our food system from the ground up. Learn more or become a member at https://kisskornucopia.com/join-csa/.

We’re EGG-cited to partner with right here in Kissimmee!
Owner Wagner Krohling shared some fun facts with us about farm-fresh eggs — and we had to pass them along.

First, farm eggs are stunning. You’ll see shells in natural shades of brown, cream, even green and blue. These beauties come from hens that roam, peck, and forage on pasture — which means richer flavor and more nutrients in every bite.

And here’s a surprising one — you don’t have to refrigerate them!
Because Princess Flock eggs come to you clean but unwashed, they keep their natural protective coating (called the cuticle or bloom). This layer seals the shell’s pores and keeps bacteria out, so the eggs can be safely stored on the counter. Just wash right before use!

Counter storage: about 3 weeks
Refrigerated: even longer
(Trust us — they’re so good, they won’t last that long!)

Kiss Kornucopia members receive ½ dozen eggs with each farm share, with the option to order extra anytime at: https://kisskornucopia.com/join-csa/
