Farms are an integral part of a community and we are extremely fortunate to live in an area where this dying art is still being practiced. We want to be able to suggest a cut of meat, how to prepare it and the best ways to enjoy it. Our shop, called MEat, is focused on 100% locally and humanely raised animals. No hormones, no antibiotics, all naturally raised animals without cages, free to roam. A

ll of our products are raised by local farmers throughout Maine and New Hampshire who take pride in their work and who care about the well being of their animals.

Many of you know Jie (pronounced Jay) from Terra Cotta Pasta Co. Kittery and may have seen her in our shop as one of our regulars. Her family lost everything last night in a devastating fire. Thanks to an amazing neighbor, they got out with the pajamas they were wearing and their lives. Please consider donating or sharing and let’s show Jacques and Jie just how amazing this community is. 🫶🏼

We’re in the final 2 weeks at 7 Wallingford Sq 😳😢😬

Our new location will be 2 Rogers Rd right here in Kittery, just an 1/8th of a mile down the road. We hope to be reopen by Sept 23rd, but we really have no firm date.

Please consider getting your stock-up orders in for next weekend as that’s the best way to guarantee we have exactly what you’re looking for and you won’t be competing with Labor Day weekend shoppers.

What a difference a day makes! We’re getting closer and closer to moving into our new home! We will be closing on Sunday, September 6th and will reopen in our new digs 3 weeks later (🤞). We will keep you updated as progress continues. Keep an eye on our socials in the upcoming month as we will FINALLY reveal our new restaurant and bar’s name and vibe! 🎉
