WE DID IT!

The Outer Banks Woman’s Club wants to thank the community and recognize our community
partners that helped us achieve our goal of collecting 500 lbs of plastic bags.

Those partners are as follows:
- YMCA, 3000 S Croatan Hwy, Nags Head
- Baum Center, 300 Mustian St, KDH
- Joe Lamb Realty, 4607 N Croatan Hwy, Kitty Hawk
- Harris Teeter, Nags Head
Publix and the Outer Banks Brewing Station also played crucial roles in helping us achieve our goal.

TREX will reward our efforts with a lovely bench that the Outer Banks Woman’s Club will
donate to the community. Details to follow on this donation.

Please continue to drop off clean, dry plastic bags, free of food residue inside at one of the three locations listed above in support of our continued efforts to collect an additional 500 lbs. of plastic bags for a second bench.

Support Local

OBWC is collecting plastic grocery/store bags to be recycled by TREX Company through November 2021. The bags can be deposited in designated receptacles at the following locations:
- YMCA (3000 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head)
- Baum Center (309 Mustian Street, KDH)
- Joe Lamb Realty (4607 N. Croatan Highway, Kitty Hawk)
At the end of the collection period, TREX will recycle the bags into a bench that will be located in the OBX community.
All plastic bags need to be clean, dry, and free of food residue. Thank you for your support of our recycling project.
